Show is mostly good. It's pretty over the top at a lot of points and some of the characters are absurd, but most of the major characters are very engaging.

She's a meathead that got into action movies/shows. She's not someone that's necessarily going to be eloquent in a public speaking venue/interview. The interview was fine for what it was. She got to tell her side of the story but obviously didn't want to just throw everyone under the bus.

Fair enough. I've definitely finished seasons of shows I'd have been better off not doing so with. I don't think this show is particularly amazing, but I do like that it's trying some different stuff instead of just being the same shit as everything else.
