Yeah manabases do that, usually peak during a gold block then start to get worse for a bit then the cycle continues. That land is certainly playable, but you may not see quite as greedy of color requirements from future decks. Narset and Bell Haunt in the same deck is pretty wild for example.

Not sure it's really as good as the checklands but it's certainly a nice boost to evolving wilds/terramorphic expanse which saw at least a small amount of play.

Ben Stark, Deathsie, legendvd, insanehayne, msigrist, and andrewcuneo all stream very high level limited fairly often. Stark and legendvd in particular generally explain their picks and stuff so that could be really helpful if you're looking for pointers.

Jokes aside, they won't give up 800, but that record definitely is in jeopardy. Defense obviously isn't particularly good, but not much they can do when the offense just 3 and outs regularly.

I always use my gold to draft, have a shitload of gems though.

yeah if you're not playing 2 or 3 different cards that make food, that would make it pretty sketchy. 1 shot of ramp then 2 mana to make 1 mana later seems kind of weak. but if you have 10-12 cards in your deck that make food then you can get 2 or 3 mana out of it before you run out.

I don't think there will likely be a dedicated food deck, but goose will probably see play in some kind of deck that has some incidental food creation.

Well, standard and limited are where the majority of pack sales comes from so that's an obvious answer why. I mean they do masters sets and all that shit too, but even with the real high pack prices, that has to be a drop in the bucket overall.

All the decks have ways of going crazy, but the Jund deck is probably the best one. the going crazy and drawing a bunch of extra cards thing is just casting and attacking with your commander so there's far less hoops involved.

mastery pass is good value if you can get to a pretty high level, you don't need to hit 100 to make it worth it, but you do want to get reasonably deep.

I get what you're saying, but that's partly because of last jedi being a giant turd. If it had actually built on what was introduced in 7 then it would have been a reasonable intro movie to the new characters and all that. But that's not what happened.

Yeah this event was actually kind of interesting. I only played 6 games and 5 of them involved both sides playing field of the dead decks, but that was to be expected

I mean dredge and shops are generally the best decks in vintage so it makes sense. faithless looting is close to ancestral recall with flashback in the decks that want it so i'm sort of surprised it took this long. I get that it's not just powerlevel though, sometimes you keep busted shit...

i played RUG elemental shift. was the easiest 6-0 event i've ever had on any of these.

Specifics matter, the cards you can see are bulk junk, but if you have some dual lands etc in there you might have some treasures.
