Google is fairly notorious for giving almost no advanced notice. When they had their Chromecast reveal/press conference, the device was available for purchase on their website by the time the press conference ended. I bought mine like 5 minutes after I got done watching online.

FYI, Travelstar Hard Drive = Hitachi. Western Digital bought them last year, and Travelstar is the mobile line of hard drives that Hitachi makes now. Hitachi HDs have always been a solid product in my experience of having them off and on throughout the years of building PCs.
