the development time it would take to create more levels is greater than the development time it takes to add new content to existing levels. sure, backtracking might make some people think "i wish they had made new levels instead," but if they had done that then it would have taken even longer...

i mean, i suppose you could make the argument that if they had taken the time to design extra levels to go through instead of having to backtrack, that would be even better. but any good game would be better with extra levels, so that's kind of a silly argument.

its been a long time, so maybe i'm wrong, but you don't need to collect all the stars in Mario64 to beat the game, do you?

would the game feel too short if the extra moons were taken out? if they had never been there in the first place, would anyone have anything to complain about? i have not beaten the game so idk, but i agree that i just don't see how extra content can be bad.

yeah i looked at their locations map and it's mostly centered around Kentucky and then spreads south. didn't realize it when i picked it out driving past, but the one i went to is the only one in Michigan.

can definitely bring Larsa for second slot i could bring Cid7 w/ his Shout clone, Tempest Snipe and Lightning Dive? Prompto w/ Full Break and Tempest Snipe and his pentabreak lightning damage SSB? or aforementioned Aranea or Raijin possibilities.
