That's basically my assessment. Looks like this generation is probably going to shake out as the PS4 as the obviously dominant system, with the XBone in a distant 2nd place, and WiiU as a total afterthought other than the 1 week out of the year when maybe a new Zelda or Mario game comes out...

Mainly because every family in America with a kid under the age of 12 had a Wii. WiiU won't come close to the original Wii sales numbers. Sales != better game. Shitloads more people bought Wii Fit than bought Dark Souls, does that mean it's a vastly better game?

I've seen it, but it means nothing to me until I have one in my hands. The (small) Xbox controller has been better than anything from Sony for the last 2 generations. I'm not going to be convinced that this fact has changed until I can get my hands on one at length.

If they were the same price, the slightly better graphic possibilities of the PS4 might not outweigh the fact that the Xbox controller is vastly superior to the PS3 controller. For $100 less I guess I can put up with a shitty controller, guess I'll get used to it.

I'm personally holding off on ordering either system for now. The Xbox One seems like a dumpster fire of a situation so far, but I don't really trust Sony to not botch this launch, especially if they end up selling significantly more systems than they initially estimated. After the PSN...
