Buy a mouse that you can adjust sensitivity on the fly ie Logitech G500. Works awesome for what you just described. Can have up to 5 sensitivity settings saved on the mouse and with the click of a button can go from normal sensitivity to maxed out instantly.

Wish I could find one here in town. Would buy it and return my dead one.
