Yeah, Jon was just an emo bitch who didn't think at all this season. The most egregious are Littlefinger and Varys. Littlefinger became a shell of a character once he got to Winterfell. Varys redeemed himself slightly in his last episode, but that was after several seasons of being neutered...

That one post a while back about writing like characters would act versus toward an end state (can't remember what the two styles were called) seems pretty on point. The characters since D&D took over are just chess pieces. They don't act like people would and are only used to move the story along.

Same as above. Was the Night King even a threat if not for Bran? He would've been stuck behind the wall forever. Bran essentially unleashed him to menace the world...because he knew at the end he'd get to be king.

Forgot about Hodor. Bran let him die along with untold others (hundreds of thousands...millions?) all knowing it was to get him to the throne. Shit, he made Hodor braindead and then killed him so he could be king. Bran is by far the biggest villain of the story. Change my mind.

I mean, they had a 30 second scene of Tyrion arranging chairs. Almost as bad as 5 chapters about turtle watching. And that ending montage that just went on...and on...and on...
