i suspect that the P99 devs are really taking their time on Velious because they want to make sure that its perfect at launch. it is going to be the server's swan song, after all. that said, i have a feeling it will come out this fall.

my first toon on P99 was a warrior, and i didn't have any problems finding groups all the way up to 50+.... even with just my rusty weps and leather armor.

set this up NP on my PC using the guide posted a few pages back. loving it so far. huge nostalgia.... despite being open up to PoP, EQMac *feels* more classic than P99 does. i'm not gonna give up on my P99 toons or anything, but i definitely am enjoying having a place to get away from P99 drama.

i see what you're saying two of the trickier parts of using a map IRL are figuring out where you are on the map and figuring out what direction you're facing maps make more sense than a coordinate system cartography as a tradeskill is a badass idea
