I thought we were talking about QB's drafted in the first round? It doesn't cost much for your franchise to take an UDFA QB from Eastern Illinois and have him sit for a year or two. It's completely different to spend a first round pick, or multiple picks, on a guy and have him sit.

Yeah, it's not the 80's and 90's anymore. Rodgers is about the only exception of recent QB's that have sat their rookie years, and that's mostly because they had a franchise QB already and it just so happened the follow up guy was good.
