With flour ones, you have to knead the dough pretty well to get the gluten nice and stretchy, which is what makes them softer/chewier. I prefer flour tortillas, but they are a bigger pain in the ass to make well.

I think I want that. Electric ones hold temperature automatically. You can also leave the oil in them and use it several times, which you don't usually do if you're using a wok or skillet. Less mess, less cleanup, takes less skill and knowledge of cooking. There are several advantages.
