    Fallout 4

Given what we know about FO4 that could be an optimal build. Why do you say 32 levels? There's basically two reasons people like me are theorycrafting about FO4: 1. It's what we do for fun. 2: We want to play FO4 and it's the closest thing to playing it.

    [Manga] Bleach (spoilers to current)

Just read a few more of those comics since I liked that one, they were pretty disappointing =\ I'd love a comic that just made fun of film tropes.

agree 100%. In FO3 difficulty increased the exp you got (+50% modifier on hard, -50% modifier on easy). Speaking as a player who generally only plays RPGs on their hardest setting it makes no sense. I want the challenge to be clean and not blurred by extra levels.

I agree with you, Caliane, that would be a good system. Much like my NPC gossip network though it'd be expensive to make. And in the end you'd end up with a very complex and expensive system that wasn't that important. Nothing is sacred. Everything is permitted. As far as the general NPC...

Karma is a shit system and I'm not sad to see it go. Bethesda should grow some balls and build a smart NPC gossip-based network where the reputation hit or gain from an action depends on how many people see it. Kill a nomadic family in cold blood? Zero hit to your reputation. Get caught...

    Fallout 4

I imagine Survival mode is a separate off/on thing and that very hard is the hardest difficulty setting. Either way whatever difficulty setting gives the highest chance to drop legendary weapons is what I'll choose. I generally don't like it when they tie rewards with difficulty, it makes for...

Congratulations! Having 2+ kids at once must be a nightmare and comes with risks (rest in piece little girl) but man if you wanted 2-3 it'd be nice to just get it done in one shot. If you had 3 kids at 3 year iterations it'd be an extra 6 years before kindergarten and an extra 6 years before...

I think anyone who is real with themselves and has a normal kid thinks this when times are bad. People won't admit it when things are good or in public of course. And those people that are image building on facebook? They've probably thought it the most and that's their way to offset those...

Sorry for not linking. I calculated that each point in Intelligence increases XP gained by AT LEAST 6.666...% (using reasonable assumptions and basic math) : fo4 He thinks it is 10% per point.

Guy has some evidence the int bonus is 10%. It's not definitive without knowing the leveling curve or perks, but 10% would be pretty good.

That's pretty much it. I wouldn't even call it a complete overhaul of the stats/leveling system.

I watched this whole thing, was a bit disappointing since it's the same blind theorycrafting as everything else. We really don't know anything about optimal builds.

IT/Software career thread: Invert binary trees for dollars.

I prefer minimal comments in code I read, the people who decide how much to comment all their code then just eventually shit bricks of useless comments bother me more than the guy who comments nothing and I have to figure out what's going on by reading through code. I used to, but for the last...

Nope. Itll probably be the same with a few improvements. In fact I'd say compared to changes made from ES2->3->4->5, FO3->4 has the fewest known changes pre-release.

didn't watch, going to skim over this weekend: I guess this guy did a one health bar, no sleeping/eating/stimpack run of FONV/FO3 or something. I didn't watch those vids but that sounds impressive at the start.

So is anyone else planning on rerolling when they discover their name isn't voiced? I'm usually Tuco in these games but it's such a novel feature (No one else has attempted that, right?) that I feel obligated to use it. If I had to guess what they used as a base for their name selection it'd...

Tunneling makes more sense for adventure style games or scene exploration VR (which will be a huge field of VR, it includes things like virtual museums/art galleries, architecture demos, product (ex: cars) demos, animated virtual porn etc) and makes very little sense for other fields of VR. Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

It's a concern but I won't really care until players are saying the game is unfun because of those tradeoffs. A huge space that can occur is the flight mechanics and it seems like they are working with player concerns to improve it while still providing a level of realism.

Re: special vs perks, I'm surprised that's the case. I know at first SPECIAL points will be allocated purely to get perks, but I'm assuming that perks will reach a certain level of exhaustion at high levels and SPECIAL will become more attractive.

Yeah you could either view it like you're a bystander watching them, or could view it like they are miniature figures fighting on a table in front of you. One thing that kind of puts a hamper on it is that fighting games are so competitive and the visuals are incredibly important, if your...

Not that I'm some kind of true EMDrive believer, but their argument isn't that "This violates conservation of momentum and here is why we think it does.", it's "This does NOT violate conservation of momentum and here is how.". Meanwhile, a lot of reputable physicists look at their explanation...
