For most of the story bosses (except for the last one I think it is where you secure the room) it is pretty easy to take advantage of their 'leash' ranges and pick off one or two at a time. That's how I had to do most of it on Hard.

Yeah it seems like they always have retro tournaments but you generally have to find them on the off stream depending on the size of the event.

Always makes me think about Gootecks giving up Rose. Not that he's as good as Louffy, but stick with it and commit to a mid tier and he could do well. He got tons of mileage out of Rog as did many others.
