The Ferengi development in DS9 is, indeed, fantastic. You even gain some sympathy for why they are the way they are. The Nagus is ridiculous and irritating, though. Jake episodes were absolutely weak, just like Kira episodes. You can only do so much with shit actors.

Holy crap, the refs are just getting worse. They refuse to call penalties on Vegas, even when a Vegas player punches a Montreal player in the face directly in front of them. Then they make the clock run out, killing powerplay time for Montreal. What in the actual fuck is going on?

This is a bullshit situation. The refs are working hard for Vegas. Don't call anything, until you can call something on Montreal AND Vegas, and then make it an Vegas powerplay. What bastards.

It's actually not that hard to get lost on a canoe trip. I know people who have done it. Reading a map is a lost art. But yeah, bring the water filter for sure. And dehydrated food.
