PoE1 has not been on rails since around the time Ward Loop showed up as a build. I think it's a pretty good example because in PoE2 Ward Loop would get nuked out of existence mid league. In PoE1 it (and builds like it) is allowed to thrive. It seems to me there are 2 very different thought...

In the video hes got a very specific setup AND he's skipping all ascendencies. Some of it might have been changed/nerfed in .4 as well.

The end game is garbage.

There is a lot of cool stuff in this game, and honestly it already feels more complicated (the gameplay + supports + tree + ascendancies, not the league mechanics) than poe1. I just really don't like actually playing the game.

Looking over the 3 djinns quickly they don't look like traditional minions. They don't act on their own and it seems like scaling generic damage or elemental damage will work better than trying to scale minion damage.

I really dont understand how they thought this new Kalandra + Alva temple amalgamation mechanic would be well received. It's the antithesis of trying to simplify the concepts of PoE to attract more players.

This was actually part of my original point. This show is odd because we get basically no perspective from the antagonist. In fact, we dont even actually know, as the audience, if the writers intend for the invaders to be the antagonist. We are pretty sure, based on how we would feel ourselves...
