The "devs" didn't put in a fire res buff to clear either. They put an ability on a mob to harm fire mages in UBRS and/or lore. The UBRS devs didn't talk to the crafting devs, who actually were talking to the MC devs. Imaging spending weeks designing a complicated system of reputation grinds...
