The draw distance on grass seems to have been greatly reduced since the patch, anyone notice? I see the grass loading in now in most areas even while on foot, don't recall ever seeing that happen pre patch.

Tip. If you call your horse, while you see it off in the distance, it will take its sweet ass time coming to you. Yet, it you turn around so you can't see it, then call it, then it comes quickly.

The patch is live, its 2.7gb, pretty big considering what it adds/fixes. I only encountered 2 bugs during my playthrough: 1) Unable to dismount a Mongol horse once it decided it didn't want to enter a Mongol camp and ran off in the opposite direction. Had to exit to title screen to fix it. 2)...

Yea, I like the game a lot. =) Even after hitting platinum I'm back in the game hunting down all the Banners, the last collectible type to complete, haha.

So there seems to be 1 hat that isn't ingame, as far as I can tell. If you re watch the State of Play with all the Ghost gameplay, in the customization section you can see a black version of the patchwork straw hat. Has anyone happened to come across that? Its not the Genbu hat.

I wonder how they will spin that. Is SM:MM strictly a Ps5 dlc? If so, and they charge ppl who already own SM on the Ps4 $60 to get MM + Remaster, that would be pretty shitty. If you're like me, and do not own SM already, then paying $60 for SM+MM for the Ps5 would be great.

Maybe, but Xbox hasn't shown anything worth buying a Series X for, yet. Stick with PC + GamePass and you should be set. Craft? Well, you can buy all types of ammo and most resources from the Trapper npc you'll see at various locations (mostly survivor camps). Make sure to upgrade your Bows so you'll get higher ammo capacity. Most Mongol camps, forts, etc. have "ammo" holders around.

I only have the Fox Den one atm, but most of the den's I've found have been from simply hearing the fox in the distance, or seeing it. Birds will guide you to points of interest, and quest givers. If one took you to a place with a "view", it might have been a Haiku spot? I had one lead me through the Komatsu(?) Forge town while I was there before a quest took me there (so it was empty). It kept leading me to a certain house...

Been playing the past 2-3hrs now, haven't progressed the Story much due to getting pleasantly sidetracked. It has been a lot of fun so far just roaming around, fighting random bandits / mongols, finding places / shrines / petting foxes.

That will to live will lead to great things.
