Actually, they sort of did. If you roll a gnome now, they have a new starting experience in the upper levels of Gnomergon and there is a reclaimed village/staging area outside. The dungeon is still in game, but they mixed the plot up a bit.

TS wasn't the economy. TBH, their inflated price really didn't make much sense. For instance, a farm wagon takes 2 TS trees. With old prices, that is easily 2.4k gold alone. You get a 2 slot upgrade over the farm cart. On a good day on a long run, that is what...20 more gold over the cart...
