Glad someone else thinks this. It really was an awesome system that needs to be revisited. I still have yet to see a class system that's so flexible. Talent trees can't compare IMO.

Not to keep harping on EQOA but they should consider a class mastery system. It worked GREAT in that game. I never played EQ1 much but EQOA shared a lot in common with it and may have done a couple things better (that system being one of them).

EQOA used coach paths similar to flight paths. You had to make the run to grab all your coaches and even then they weren't always close to where you wanted to go. That's acceptable to flying mounts, IMO. I don't want travel to be so fast that one guild can monopolize all contested content...

Screw first person only view. Most cameras limit the FOV you would actually see in real first person and are therefore crap. Third person please.

I feel if a game like EQOA could be seemless without chunking issues, a modern game should be able to do this just fine too.

These guys have been pretty upfront and open with info from day 1. I don't think their communication could be any better. As for the sandbox term being marketing speak, this game has been in development long before sandboxes became the next buzzword.

My only issue with TMO was building penetration. Their spectrums they use absolutely suck as soon as you walk into a building. Outside they worked just fine and the speed was great on HSPA+.
