i think there's a difference between using gay as an insult, and using gay as... well... not an insult. there's a few there that are clearly one or the other.
serious question column... aspbergers?
there are a TON of posters on here who NEVER posted on foh because you had to "donate" in order to get posting rights. i never got an account specifically because of that. there was a time i thought about donating to get rights since i've lurked since wow was in beta... but... with all the ads...
yeah, i really appreciate marvel's direction on things. the audience is built by comic fans... for every group of people that see the avengers and have no idea who thanos is, there's one person in that group that is able to explain it to them in detail. Marvel knows this. for every person who...
i was initially worried about the FFF nerf and the spirit regen nerf... but from what i can tell, it hasn't REALLY affected my deadpool. i was kind of worried because for AOE packs i'd spam Fire All the Bullets and then use the spirit regen ability... what's it called? More Bullets? or...
so i don't have this game yet... i'm finishing up saints row 4 and sleeping dogs (i know... i'm late) but i am enjoying reading through these threads just reading what trevor is doing.
an obvious crime, like, say, running a red light and hitting on coming traffic? =D
i'm not going to argue your point on whether or not the world is full of bigots... as i tend to agree with you... but... come on man... being a christian doesn't equate to being a bigot. being muslim doesn't...
Well complexity can be a problem. But there's a time and a place for it. You don't need an origin story for every character . if you introduce a character without an origin and people like him. Give him his own movie
All this talk about not being able to do certain characters or storylines due to over complexity.... I don't know... I don't think I buy it. Granted, it was technically a teaser... Buy they didn't explain anything when thanks showed up. Certain characters really need an origin story. Others...
first off... mark wahlberg can go screw himself. he's that kid down the street that everyone grew up with that talked crap all day long but anytime he had to put up or shut up his mom called him home for dinner. the 2 best parts of that article are where he thinks that not only is he comparable...
I think they've mentioned that it's going to take place before wc3. Possibly wc1/2 era. I think their plan is to focus a little more on the characters that are important but haven't seen much story time so far. Lothar and turalyon type characters
i'm sorry, yes batman and superman had the dc logo. but road to perdition, dredd, etc. none of those movies had any kind of comic book logo in front of them. not that i remember anyways.
Yeah that's true. Those are all DC comic related movies. But... Correct me if I'm wrong, none of those movies have any DC labeling on them, correct? Minus the text at the end of the credits that no one reads. Not like how marvel and superman and batman have the big graphic at the beginning of...
yeah... seriously... i never had lag issues outside of the first few days of release... but i've played probably 6 hours in the last week and EVERY 10 MINUTES i die due to a lag spike where nothing registers for about 30-45 seconds. it's infuriating. how did things get worse?
i can't seem to find any documentation about saving vehicles being broken. someone mentioned that rockstar said it's not working as intended but i can't seem to find anything regarding this. i'm going to be getting this sometime int he next couple of days, so i'd like to know if that is indeed a...
i think the point is that the marvel universe franchise is just that. a franchise with a ton of clout. anytime you hear that marvel is making a movie (not fox or sony, but marvel studios) you get excited. when you hear that DC is making a movie... well unless it's batman everyone gets really...
There's plenty of actors to pull from. Carl Weathers, Liam Neeson, Sam Jackson, Michael Dudikoff (as someone said), Bolo Yueng, Steven Segal, Danny Glover, Louis Gosset Jr, Michael Beihn, Pam Greir, Peter Weller. Man... i could go on and on.
Exactly my point. People keep saying it. This game was balanced around people being able to find what they need of the ah. It was not balanced around finding your own gear. That's why everything you find sucks. It's there only to either vendor or sell on the ah.
The removal of the ah forces...
no, i agree. i said it before but i always enjoyed d3. and it continually gets better and better so there's that. but you nailed it on the head. 1-60 was great fun. it's the 60+ game that just... you just don't feel rewarded for playing. you feel rewarded for playing on the AH. that just doesn't...
right but i think that's a little short sighted. wow is the beast that it is today because they spent like 15 years building a strong reputation in the gaming community. releasing d3 with the sole intention of "we'll get a sale, and gamers will get some money" is the crux of every flaw in d3...
well, i wouldn't say it's not there anymore. i would say the problem grew and evolved into the player base deciding it's all BS and not playing anymore.
i'm sorry, i think i'm making 2 seperate points... they watered down the drops so that you HAD to use the AH, because the game was balanced around it existing, not around you using it. so you might as well use it.
the other point is how people were complaining about not being able to do mp10...
do you remember when Jay Wilson talked up how hard inferno was and how like, no one on staff was even able to beat it? and he like, issued some stupid challenge about beating inferno when it gets released? and then, like SEVERAL poeple beat inferno within a few days? how did they do that? AH...
what the auction house does is create a garage of "better than you'll ever find yourself" items. that, for the most part, is fine. the problem is that it, like seananigans said, immediately lessens the feel of ANY item you will ever find. how many people have found legendaries only to pick them...
as long as you downloaded it while it was free, it will always be free. as long as you have an active psn+ membership. so even if you download a game, then delete it because you're not going to get to it for 5 months due to backlog and needing space on your hard drive... you can download it...
yeah, to be fair, i still greatly enjoy d3. admittedly i only play a few hours a month (if that). i only have 1 lvl 60 character and he's not even that well geared. well enough to do like, inferno mp 3 or so but that's it. my wife and i will play our lvl ~45 toons every couple of months but...
maybe... but it's a whole lot more interesting than what is probably the truth. a bunch of people who fell in love with their own name and have ridden the coattails of their success for so long that they don't have any idea what's fun anymore. so in order to succeed they need to troubleshoot...
