Man I forgot how terrible every fighting scene involving Katie Cassidy was til just now. Like even if it was their intention to have her look like she didn't really know how to fight it stood out for looking incredibly awful.
Strafe-impale DH is unquestionably the all around champion of the season, top tier speed farming, top tier pushing, only second to Necro for RGK, much easier to play and gear than WoL monk.
I'm probably playing Necro though since I just did DH.
The main thing I remember about Sera is that it was a fucking coin flip what the outcome of talking to her would be. Compliment her? She gets angry. Insult her? She's happy!
The Oliver and Felicity relationship was best when it wasn't actually a relationship. Awkward Felicity drooling over shirtless Oliver doing a salmon ladder or accidentally saying her thoughts out loud was incredibly funny. Felicity and Oliver's relationship constantly being on the brink of...
So he ended his career just to try and defend himself from criticism over the way a prelim was judged.
Some people just like to kick themselves while they're down.
They've been working on Midnight Sons since shortly after X-Com 2 launched and a chunk of the dev team eventually got sick of it (presumably) and left to form Bit Reactor, which immediately got tapped by EA to do a Star Wars strategy game.
I don't think the ethereals still have a homeworld in Firaxcom, either because the 'greater threat' they were preparing to fight took it from them or because they abandoned it when they lost their corporeal forms.
I just make mac and cheese from scratch with those big bricks of cheese product, but I usually mix in a pound of ground beef or sausage so its a cheap main dish instead of a side.
Git gud scrub.
But yeah it's pretty weird that they telegraphed revisiting TFTD at the end of X-Com 2 but then instead did some unconventional spin-off that seemed to be more inspired by Apocalypse before abandoning the franchise entirely.
Not only was the Mouth of Sauron great but the cut scenes with Faramir, Boromir, and Denethor really left Faramir as a pretty hollow character. In particular when he tells his man to take Frodo to Gondor and tell his father "Faramir sends a mighty gift" he's basically throwing Boromir's death...
I feel like there's at least an entire degree of magnitude between 'possibly the greatest rusher ever but he could have done even better with a competent franchise' and 'who knows what kind of career Luck could have had if the Colts didnt destroy his body".
How was Barry's career ruined? He's largely regarded as the best running back to play in the modern era and while it's certainly frustrating/an embarrassment to be such a good player and never even play in a Super Bowl, Luck retired at the age of 29 because the Colts didn't adequately protect him.
Immortal Empires won't have Chaos Rifts or any other feature of the TWH3 campaign just like Mortal Empires didn't have any aspect of the Vortex Race in TWH2.
Baseball is also a sport where the best players still put on amazing performances on a trainwreck of a team so it's even more glaringly obvious when their careers are being wasted.
