I thought it dosent work that way. you need a non socketed white broadsword or crystal sword from cows, and as it did for me, the act 5 guy returned with 4 sockets you cannot add sockets to a 3 socket crystal sword i am told...

first time creating rune weapons. Joined someones game and went into nm cows looting rocks and small cache. got damaged and crack broadsword after much time. went back to normal and got it socketed anyhoo. Joined another cow right after and got a perfect crystal sword. wtf!
