Well, from what I know now, I would recommend getting as high as you can power wise before finishing story. The story drops many exotics and you want them as high level as possible to drop for you. So keep doing what you are doing to get that PL up to 265 or even 270 if you can. then finish it.

Go one step further and create one for xbox, one for ps4, and one for PC.

Raid drops will probably be 290-300 is my guess. Maybe even 310-320 seeing how some of the streamers and poopsockers are already 300ish.

Watch, LFG requirements for raid will be 280+ and experience necessary for the first few weeks. I bet they wont even touch you if youre 260 pleb. That is of course if you do LFG.
