I picked up Windows Server 2012 Unleashed by Morimoto, Noel, etc... I've only been through the first 300 or so pages but it gives a good understanding of the changes, how to migration, and what to expect. Not going for any certs so the book may or may not be a help.

Only complaint I hear about here in Arizona is that it gets hot and is not comfortable to stand on without shoes. Animals aren't fond of it either when it's like that. There could be certain types that fare better than others in the heat though.

Got it on PS3 new for around $8. It's got a weird RTS component along with it's regular beat em up main game. The music and voice acting is done well enough. If you can pick it up for cheap it's not a bad buy IMO.
