Yeah unfortunately every game can't be like Fallout 3/New Vegas or FarCry. I wish every game could have that kind of exploration aspect, but it would get old after a while.

Oh man that's a good one, especially BF3 on PC. A lot of servers get pissy when you swear in chat yet the computer AI is yelling 'fuck' left and right.

One of the main reasons I like having PC as my primary source of gaming. Want to play an old game from the 90's? No problem, Compatibility Mode ftw. That being said, I do like being able to play older games on my PS3 and 360. Still some PS1 games that I like to go back and play (FF7, 8, 9).

From what I've noticed over the last couple years, physics and shadows seem to have the largest impact on performance in games. Like for me I can run WoW at any resolution on max settings, but if I turn shadows from the highest setting down to say medium my framerate jumps like 15-20 higher...
