A lot of the Xmen stuff is fine. It's probably my favorite comic source material though so it should be better than fine. It should be the pinnacle of comic movies to me and it's clearly not that. The Fantastic Four stuff has all been pure shit though.

Most of these movies had far bigger issues than how these characters looked. Not sure why anyone would have an issue with Jean's appearance. Galactus was in fact terrible, but just about everything about that movie was terrible.

Nobody is saying pitching is irrelevant. Teams trade for productive position players as well. Again if you have good pitching you might be better off getting another bat than an upgrade at pitching. It goes back to the balance thing.

The way the show ended was fine. I still wouldn't have minded seeing a bit more. I'm skeptical this will both come together and do the show justice. I know 90 percent of this board is on The Wire's nuts but I always thought Deadwood was the best HBO show.

Well, the main reason it died out was that there were no events in the format. It's always been a thing on MTGO though. It's a cheap format that's not usually too hard to figure out.
