Well you can upgrade weapons to 660 or 670 if you can cobble all the shit together, but for leveling 630 is way more than enough. 660 staff would take 30 savage bloods, and 450 paints. A 630 staff is just 100 paints.

Yeah HM mechanics are all pretty easy. Imp isn't really hard either but it's kind of like Garrosh was last expansion. Easy mechanics but kind of a bunch of them.

That's going to vary by class/spec. For some classes certain secondaries come close to the same value as main stat even. Some classes are fairly close in regards to secondaries so ilevel is almost always going to be a straight improvement. Just need to find what the stat values are for your...
