Shadowbane was supposed to have gates you could travel between worlds using. While they made the travelling within one world work with these gates, they never were able to tackle travelling between servers. Id expect this to follow the original vision in that they are actual servers.

I played a lot of SB and if I remember right the skill was actually bugged and didnt work. I cant even remmeber the name of the skill so im not going to argue over it but im pretty sure it worked so well that it was removed from the game.

now you need to learn the timer on it to where your better than 99% of players then start planting forests out in the open in safe zones.

problem I have is both sides have to have something on the line to make it meaningful. Right now only the aggressor in any combat racks up negative karma and risks item loss. If someone attacks you while your not carrying a pack or something, you do more damage to the player by not attacking back.

"full FFA loot PvP" not sure where you got that but its only inventory items that drop, not gear. Enchanting grades on gear lower on deaths but even then these are only for the bad guys with the low karma (the ones attacking)
