Yes there are certain boss specific drops. Hand of Doom only drops of Doom, Gem of the Kursed only drops from Kurse. Pretty much every terminal boss has at least one boss specific drop (and the drop in Midtown off those bosses when they spawn as well)

Trying to level Loki with anything other than an Illusions build is painful. He runs out of spirit so quick unless running illusions. The illusions build is actually quite powerful and kind of fun.
