    That's why the first six months will be fun. There will be advantage to single classing. You'll get your guy to tier 5 before the people trying to level multiple classes. But at some point you need to start branching.

    Well tank classes are certainly going to be able to slot CC class abilities. So I'd go with already in the game. However, maybe the best CC abilities are tied to CC weapons so those would not be slotable.

    And clarification, I used the word "threat" specifically. As I understand the combat AI (which is not much) you no longer generate aggo, but instead the AI does constant threat assessment. So to hold the mob you need to generate "threat"

    Directed gameplay. They want you to have a set of quests to do in a set order instead of looking around for them. No going off the rails.

    I think buffs have to blow up if you switch classes. Too cheezy to have everyone switch to druid spec, sow themselves, then switch out to normal spec.
