This pretty much sums up what I want from an MMO, and EQ has been the one that delivered it back then. More recently, EVE has nailed that aspect as well. If a new games comes along that manages to immerse one in its world, I'll probably be there playing.

To get this back to wildstar i guess the lesson to learn from GW2 is that wanting to have several live teams and actually having them and adding enough content to keep your pve players engaged are two different things. Wildstar does talk good PR rgarding that but so did GW2.

I think the view perspective has to fit the game. I love me some Elder Scrolls in first person, no questions asked. The games are very much about immersing yourself in the world they've build. Third person is obviously superior as far as getting information your surroundings and whats going on...

Maybe everone has different thresholds for immersion but to me WoW moved away from it more and more and instead focused on its theme park ride aspects - so I mostly expect a well done theme park from Wildstar and would be surprised if it gets you that 'being there' immersive feeling.
