The RPi was a really good deal if you'll use all that stuff (LED's, resistors, etc), but if not you could pick up the useful stuff for around the same price. I bought a Canakit RPI bundle last year and I think it was $60.

I love Nova launcher myself too. I made the app icons really small on my home screen so I could fit in more, that alone made it worth it to me. Only issues I've ever had is when it got updated my phone got fubarred until I realized I had to relaunch Nova manually once.
