    Monster Hunter: World

Yes totally worth getting. I play solo and am doing fine and having a blast. Limited hours to play in a week too (Dads of MHW unite)

    Monster Hunter: World

I think I’m a hammer bro. Tried various weapons over my 10 hours of playing. Liked the long sword, greatsword, and SnS, but when I tried the hammer yesterday it just clicked. It feels so powerful, but I’m mobile enough to dodge and roll. KOing monsters when I smash them in the head is so...

    Monster Hunter: World

I can’t settle on a weapon. I know anything is good but I don’t want to waste mid tier materials on weapons I won’t use as much. Started off with the sword and shield and it was good. Tried the long sword and it felt better. Last night the greatsword was a blast when I was just doing expedition...

Doesn’t work on preorders but a good coupon none the less. Thanks. I’ll be using it on MHW the second it is no longer considered a preorder.

Yes I believe you can adjust that once you get into the training grounds or a hunt. It’s in one of the top left menus

    Monster Hunter: World

Beta for MHW was my first MH game ever. Lots of fun even though I suck and just mash buttons. From what I read, the entire game can be played solo or multiplayer. No content is restricted to one or the other.

    Monster Hunter: World

I haven’t tried it yet but will be giving it a go later tonight. Never played a monster Hunter game before so I’ve been reading about it so it’s not quite so overwhelming when I try it. From what I’ve read I believe the clunky feeling is because you cannot cancel animations so it takes practice...

    Monster Hunter: World

Never played a MH game before, but looking forward to Worlds. This weekend's beta should answer my question of whether the learning curve on this is too steep for me to enjoy out of the gate.

Got move controllers for Christmas. After about an hour in Skyrim, they are starting to feel more natural. Very immersive. Love them in other games I’ve tried too (Rush of Blood, tumbler, the heist demo game, rec room) . Highly recommended.

    Warframe

Played the crap out of Destiny 1, but 2 is just not doing it for me. Is Warframe close to the same feel? If so, I'll give it a shot even though it sounds complicated and time consuming.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

Just saw it today. Pretty much have the same feelings as many of you. Disappointed in the direction they went, but trying to hang onto the positives and enjoy it for what it was. That said, I need to vent about a few things just because I went into this with such high expectations. The...

Skyrim bundle and pro can be found for $350 each this time of year. Cheap route would be a regular PS4 ($200) and the 1st gen headset ($200) then buy skyrim separate. Game plays fine on ds4 so you don’t NEED the move controllers. It’s $700 vs 450 but if money isn’t an issue go for the best...

It’s small but things do seem sharper/clearer. I know right now the pro support is just supersampling, but hopeful they tweak it even more in future patches.

Pro just got delivered! Transferring data and hoping to jump into Skyrim tonight. Looking forward to seeing slightly sharper images on my psvr!

Amazon has the destiny 2 pro bundle for $350, so guess who just justified getting a pro for slightly improved PSVR visuals! I’ll dump destiny since I own already and sell my og PS4. Can’t beat about $100 out of pocket to upgrade to pro! Skyrim is going to be even better!!

VR Gaming - Oculus Rift, Playstation VR, HTC Vive

@Vorph There must still be headset volume controls somewhere in version 2. Aren't they along the bottom of the actual visor now or something like that? I'm debating buying a boom mic stand for $20 on Amazon. That would give you the extra height option and be portable. Is there a specific...

VR Gaming - Oculus Rift, Playstation VR, HTC Vive

The issue people have with turning 180 from the camera is, afaik, not the headset tracking, its the ds4/moves/AIM can't be seen by the camera for games that it matters. Vorph did you use the in-line volume buttons on the VR cable? That's how I boosted my volume up. The volume control on the...

@Xadion Yes that’s it and I have them. They are great. Perform exactly as intended and you can’t even tell they are there. Should come standard with the headset really. Essential.

Og PS4 here. Yeah it looks like ps3 but I don’t care. I’m IN Skyrim! Love it so far. Face gets all sweaty and I feel slightly nauseous if I don’t take a 5 min break every 30 min but hoping I get used to it over time. Going to mess with comfort settings too to see if I can alleviate the blahs.

4 days @Utnayan until we realize the dream of living IN an rpg! Do you have a PS4 pro? I know it will look better on the pro but don’t want to drop that much on a minor upgrade right before the holidays. But I do want the best Skyrim VR experience! So torn

I agree Ut! I am so excited for Skyrim (played it ages ago on PS3 but never finished it). It's been a lifelong dream to feel like I was living in an RPG...and this is it finally after waiting a long long time. Much longer than I care to admit. I knew I was going to get Skyrim VR, even if it...

I'm getting it on PS4 because it's the most comfortable way for me to play and I don't have a top end pc, but I'm tempted to buy one because the pc version of D2 has unlimited fps and adjustable fov (unlike consoles locked at 30fps and 60fov)

Best way to project Chtromebook image to a projector?

Yes wirelessly. I thought the way it worked was plug the chrome cast dongle thing into the hdmi on the projector and open the chrome cast app on the chrome book? Other than initial setup on the chrome book I thought the projector itself just needed the chrome cast dongle and it was good to go?

Best way to project Chtromebook image to a projector?

At work we all were given Chromebooks to use, with the goal being to project whatever we see on our Chromebook screen to a smartboard for others to view. My boss thought the Chromebook could do it out of the box, but asked me to look into it. From what I can tell from brief googling is that we...

    Nintendo Switch (previously NX)

Everything else works fine in my hdmi switch, just not the Nintendo Switch. I'll just live with the Nintendo unplugged when I'm not using it, for now. Hdmi switch I bought just a few weeks ago and while I can't turn off auto switching it does support 4K and all the other latest tech so I don't...

    Nintendo Switch (previously NX)

I already have a 3 port switch installed, so you are suggesting having a 2 port hdmi switch, just for the Switch, go into my 3 port hdmi switch, which all goes into tv, to keep the Switch from switching inputs? Seems like a lot of extra work when I can just deal with plugging in the Switch's...

    Nintendo Switch (previously NX)

When my Switch is a plugged into my hdmi switch it keeps automatically trying to switch to that input when watching tv or playing PS4 even though the Switch is asleep in the dock. Any ideas, other than just having the hdmi to the Switch unplugged when I'm not playing (which is always now that...
