So kinda ff12 combat (which I really enjoyed back when I played it on the ps3) but no gambits and kinda complicated sounding side quest stuff with a good story and music. Sounds pretty nice. Thanks for the info guys.
What ps4 game would you say XB Difinitive is most like? It looks interesting but i don’t want to drop $60 and not have the game click with me. I haven’t played a non-ps4 rpg in years.
Nah, you are reading too much into it. They aren’t doing this as an “excuse” because they want to delay info. They are just following suit with what some other companies are doing in light of the rioting. Honestly, Sony has probably had their announcement info set in stone for weeks now and were...
I’ve never had luck preordering a new console online before preorders are sold out and have always had to resort to waiting a few months or going in store to try and snag one on release day. Is there an app or page to follow that would tell me the instant ps5 is available for preorder on Amazon?
Oh is there a bug with them spawning? I swear I step on every square inch of a map, and try rolling to stuff that seems reachable, and I still don’t find the secrets sometimes.
Am I missing something with secrets? I’ll run a map and it will say there are 1 or 2 secrets. I’ll cover every square inch of a map and don’t find anything that completes the secret stat.
How would this be solo? I’ve done the diablo 3 thing (years ago) and just tried PoE but man I’m getting old or something. Too much going on with the massive amounts of runes and linking them, sifting through piles of trash loot, and jugging a bazillion currencies. Anyways, MCD seems like a well...
It does pick up somewhat once you get around chapter 6 (I think it was that) but it is extremely linear throughout. Corridor after corridor endlessly. For reference I beat it on normal mode a few days ago and clocked in 52 hours and was level 40. I went slowly and did as much of the content as I...
Just picked up the base game. Going to coop it with a friend. Should we play it through before getting the DLC or is the DLC mostly QOL updates and whatever replayability you are alluding to (don’t give me spoilers if there are any)?
Speaks of Tactics, why isn’t this available for PS4? I’d rebuy in a heartbeat. Unless it’s there and I’m blind and missed it, I see upscale original versions of 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12 but not the greatest of them all Tactics.
You can be anything you want really. You can mix and match stuff to your liking and respect whenever you want for free (once you get past act 1 unless you enable a Larian mod to add a respect mirror to Fort Joy). I’ve been doing an online coop run through the game with a friend and I think we...
After playing the demo (which I enjoyed to an extent it just didn’t feel like I was playing FF7) and seeing how much more it’s like ff15 than 7, it makes me feel sad. Glad I picked up the original ff7 for ps4 for $7 on the PS store sale this week. I can play the WHOLE GAME with turn based combat...
Cut the cord this week. YouTube TV (and Frndly for wife to have Hallmark) for about $55 a month. 100/100 fiber for $45. So paying $100 a month now as opposed to $145 a month for internet and cable. Feels good man
The weapon mechanics were the worst thing about BoTW (that and no real dungeons). They should have put an option to turn off weapon decay as a dlc. I would have bought it. I always found myself afraid to use anything strong or cool because it would slowly wear down and break. Took away a lot of...
Finished it this week. Same thoughts as most of you. Game was ok. Star Wars atmosphere was good. Story was somewhat interesting. Combat was clunky and really showed it’s true (bad) colors when fighting multiple enemies at once. Exploration was pointless since chests only had cosmetics a vast...
Just saw it and went in with extremely low expectations after TLJ. I was pleasantly surprised. Ended up being very pleased with how it all turned out. Enjoyed seeing Abrams try and salvage his TFA storylines as best he could after the TLJ abomination.
Nerfs coming to rampage and other dps boosting weapon perks on Tuesday so of course today I pulled an Austringer from Menagerie with rampage, outlaw, extended barrel, alloy mag, and range mw. God tier hopefully long term but I’ll enjoy it for 2 days before Shadowkeep!
FF3: got it for snes at release and made it all the way to some cave where a new character would glitch your game if you used her sketch skill. I didn’t know any better and used her, bugged out the game and saved my game. Thought my game was broken so exchanged it at Walmart and had to start...
Glad I’m not the only one who stopped the storyline after saving my house. I’ve been doing nothing but exploring since.
I believe there is a trick to avoid all the traveling when your pack is full. I haven’t tried it yet but essentially just make an alt and camp them at your house stash or at...
A bit off topic, but just saw Conan exiles is free this month for PS+. Anyone played it? On paper it sounds very similar to outward but can be played single, coop, or on a persistent online server. If you die you have to travel back to loot your body, etc.
There is a patch coming for pc. You can try it out now. Hopefully coming to PS4 soon!
“Hello everyone!
We decided to add an Experimental Branch on Steam to test out features and fixes before releasing them to everyone. You try it by going through the properties of Outward, in the tab 'Betas'...
I’m going spoiler free so I didn’t read anything before hand, but that quest with the mushroom is the way I went to pay off my debt before losing my house.
This might be an obvious question, but I can’t find the answer anywhere. Do mob have rare drops? Like if I grind my 100th chicken or bandit, could they drop really good stuff? Or is there at least a chance for a mob to spawn as “named” (ie the chicken king in place of a chicken ) and have a...
Man this game is brutally hard at the beginning. I started exploring the first area. Just a bit outside the main gates I came across 2 bandits who destroyed me. I woke up in their camp. No idea where my pocket items are or my backpack. I don’t see any icons in my map where I died so no clue...
Just getting started. Love not knowing where to go or what to do. I’m feeling pressure though since I have a 5 day timer hanging over my head to raise 150s. Explored the first town and just headed out the main gate with whatever time I have left on my house quest.
Few questions:
- Is there a...
So after a few days of playing what do you guys think now? I am intrigued by the comments about it feeling like EQ. I wouldn’t mind that. Do you roam around looking for rare spawns or named monsters with good loot, etc?
I went on the Japanese PlayStation store and downloaded the demo. It’s the first vr mission and it is an awesome experience especially if you turn on the Top Gun theme song through Spotify. Totally free and gave me my flying fix. Other than that, I agree, save your $60 and wait for a steep sale...
I had nausea at first too. Here is what helped:
only play for short periods of time maybe 20 minutes max. Start with games that don’t require a lot of movement. I would have a fan blowing on my face and I wore sea bands and chewed ginger gum. Eventually I was able to go for longer and longer...
I hated it too. Made it through the game but never used most of my best/favorite weapons for fear of them breaking. I would have paid $10 for a “dlc” that simply let us turn off weapon decay.
Edit: tried spacing it out to make it easier to read.
Wipeout (ImCurrently $8 60%off! Buy it) and ultrawings are great for racing and flying.
Farpoint /w aim is an awesome experience too.
If you want to feel like Neo in the Matrix get Superhot. Fun and good exercise.
Creed can get you tired...
Im torn on buying this on sale but not sure it’s worth the cost. i have Ultrawings to use the stick with, but that’s all. I haven’t decided if I’m getting Ace Combat 7 or not since it only has 3 vr missions.
