Fossil combos are the best quick and dirty way to craft for money. Seriously shocking how easy that can be if you just know 2-3 recipes for popular weapons (bows come to mind with +to socketed gem lvls). Alting, imprinting and slamming with blocker mods from masters is a whole nother story.

Mapping was real bad. Not being able to get basic uniques and play yellow quest was second worst part. Holding on to all kinds of yellows as I went (anything with good resist) made a big diff.

Was awful, don't recommend lol. Do it once for the achievement of doing so.
