NVidia GeForce RTX 40x0 cards - x2 the power consumption, x2 the performance

The thing is, about every OS runs on ARM. You have Linux, you have Windows, you have (of course) OSX. And the intel emulation on ARM is competitive enough that you can run pretty much any intel-only app there.

"Laughs in Magic30" It's exactly like modern video games. They're not designing their sets for the average player, they're designing their sets to milk the whales that will splurge massive amounts to collect everything. Each variant, each set, each secret lair thing is to hook 'dem whale. So...

    Who died? (Celebrity Deaths)

It is and it isn't. Hubbard had been working on Dianetics since before WW2. But he struggled to get it accepted as a new scientific discipline (unsurprisingly). It was Lester Del Rey (who published most of Hubbard's books I think) who bet him that it would gain more acceptance as a religion...

Of course. About everyone I knew who was "waiting for the 4080" simply purchased a 4090 instead when they saw the price/performance ratio. "If I'm going to overpay, I might as well get top perf for it"

The way I do some of them is use the Chrome WebToEpub extension. You can even pick which chapters you want to include (if you want to split a long series into books), and it generates an epub that you can send to your Kindle afterwards.

Another way is finding standard Jumpstart (not the expansion-based horrid versions of Jumpstart, the one that is based around core sets). The way it's designed is that you pick any two Jumpstart boosters, mix them, and you get a working bi-color deck with a semi-consistent pair of themes. For...

And that's the end of DSP for me, I think. The game worked wonderfully as a sandbox builder. One of those strategy games? There are dime a dozen of them. Goodbye.

Moving Mars. Despite being the "third" in a series, it works as a stand-alone. One of my favorites. Alternatively, Eon. When you have an O'Neill colony that has an infinite length. Literally infinite. (and yes, he did some Halo novels, because if people shovel you money, you might as well. The...

At the moment, it looks like they're trying to amp special ultra-rare collectibles (it started with the Secret Lairs, of course, then came "old Legends" "numbered special edition"). Even today. A Falcon Heavy can sent 17 tons to TLI (Translunar Insertion), which is nearly three times James Webb. You need a little more Delta-V for the lagrange point that Webb was sent to, but not that much more. The James Webb cost 8.8 billion to make, and 700 million to launch (mostly...

What's more is that, if you have a house, the wife is usually tending the garden (for extra food) while the man is off working as whatever. I love the irregular plots aesthetic, and the realistic use of oxen as transport for wood and heavy stuff.
