Fall Alpha Live, Dev Update #4 Out - Fractured - The Dynamic MMO Alpha is live till early December . Still not much "game" yet, mostly testing systems.

Total side note.... Walter Tevis is the author, and he wrote another novel that really shaped me early on. That book was called "The Hustler" (Movie later with Paul Newman) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hustler_(novel) Either book is worth the read, in my opinion.

This season so far and especially this weeks episode is lukewarm at best. They had a few chances to surprise and go against cliché', but went the predictable route. Not horrible, but nothing to remember after one viewing.

Update 2 regarding smelting and armor. Sounds like it's going to be hardcore if you want to craft anything. Alpha is the first week of November.

Yeah, time flies. Watching season 5 again and have a new appreciation for the "newsroom" story. Really well done.

So far seems solid. Chris Rock is a little stiff in his role, but the characters are quirky and it will be interesting to see how the story progresses. Side note: As a Kansas City resident, I haven't seen an actual KC landmark or street. (Hoping they filmed something in the area at least...

Added to Steam yesterday, not sure how much that will help them. Progress is slow but steady, and next alpha is October.
