    Borderlands 2

Don't really feel like digging up the pre-sequel thread, just wanted to say that I wanted to try it out first before firing up BL2 and something about it really isn't clicking for me. Feels way slower paced than the first two and the oxygen/low gravity mechanic doesn't really add much to the game.

    Chernobyl

No, it's bullshit propaganda. Those plants were safe, and it IS completely unthinkable to expect a facility to undergo a magnitude 9.0 earthquake that generated uncommonly large tsunamis without damage.

Void coefficient - Wikipedia Neutron moderator - Wikipedia Those are the two things Brekk is talking about. And on top of the insanity of using reactors configured with a positive void coefficient, there is an additional level of danger in using graphite as a neutron moderator because...

    Chernobyl

No, we really can. Fukushima wasn't bureaucrats fucking things up, it was hit by a high magnitude earthquake and two tsunamis, and despite that they never suffered a catastrophic core containment breach. It wasn't until years later that there was any evidence that they suffered any core...

    Terminator (2019)

Yeah but the vast majority of the human race dies in a nuclear holocaust in every timeline as well. There are clearly limits to how much you can change with time travel. Time bends but it doesn't break and it corrects back towards its original course like a river.

    Chernobyl

Well unless there is a massive cover-up or some clever word play, no. There are zero reported radiation sickness deaths attributed to the Fukushima disaster. Several small nearby towns are still largely abandoned, but that's due to reluctance to move back in rather than the area glowing in the...

    Chernobyl

How could there be? Nothing happened. The moral of the story is that nuclear power in a properly designed and maintained first world country is the safest and cleanest thing in the world.
