I was gonna start casually playing a dwarf guardian cause FTP and was in the mmo mood but the game has been down/unplayable for about a week now.

I'm bad at these epic, super long single player games cause I have gaming ADD and a grindy mindset for gaming. Just had a newborn though and need something I can pause on demand so finally putting some good hours into this. Skellige is pretty cool so far.

I played mostly solo as well. The main issue I always saw was people joining then leaving, at which the game just leaves that slot empty forever.

I've only got 24 hours in but it is a very fun game. Awful matchmaking system though.

I'm only slightly embarrassed to say I've got 107 hours in this and only just left Velen. Also only just learned you can shoot xbow underwater...

Does this have much depth and is it worth playing solo?

Twitch is the ideal background noise on a 2nd monitor while you game.

You could grind 100s of hours and still only get a few decent primals.

Pretty much the same for me with Lirik. I don't even watch live most of the time now, just watching his VODs in order. I'm like 2 months behind atm. If he quits (which he has been talking about sometimes) I'd likely be done with twitch as my 2nd monitor background noise choice and just do shows...

yep, Zenith definitely breaks the game. Time to farm up the best of each class and burst through master then hang this up til all the big mods are updated. great game overall

Turtle armor + Vampire knives really trivializes the game just after you kill Plantera. I can sit still and just hold down LMB to kill Solar Eclipses. Life steal is crazy good atm + 83 defense = GG.
