I don't know how some people do it either. I've always worked at home in the office behind the house on the same meter. Kept the house cool all the time since I was in and out. 2,300 sq. ft. house which is not that large, but built in 1960. Always hearing from people how their power bill is more...

I have no desire to buy an electric mower, but I do wonder how well they would cut for people that buy them during the times of the year in the south when you might need to mow your yard twice a week when it rains a bunch in the summer, most people stretch it out and instead end up cutting much...

Weigh how much the company fears getting a larger fine from OSHA compared to how much they pay you. I have seen it a lot. FYI don't use the term blackmail. "Bringing it to their attention" and maybe throw in how you aren't happy about it. Not me of course, just saying.

I thought the mechanics were done okay. I didn't know anything about DND 5. The first half of the story was acceptable. Past that when it became clear the end boss was a brain and the entire mindflayer thing was a huge turn off to me.

Tell them OSHA requires a fixed industrial ladder exceeding 20 feet to have a cage around it unless it's for emergency egress only. Ask them why you are having to go UP an egress only ladder. Under 1910.21 I'm sure they get some limited use waiver and such.

I keep two window units in the shop and put them in quickly to run off the generator if we have long term outagess. Sometimes a hurricane but once a straight line wind of 70+ mph over a 70 mile length which put a lot of trees down on the power lines. Good enough for a bedroom and one other small...
