The other feature I like about Endomodo is that you can store GPS routes for anything (biking, running, etc). You can share these routes publicly and then challenge others. It will then keep track of who has the best times, etc. Awesome little app!

I was using my Polar HRM. Now I am just lazy and fire up my Endomodo app on my phone. I did just order a BT HRM strap to pair with it though.

Appreciate the info. I am genuinely curious as to why a padded seat is any different than padding in the shorts? I've still got the original seat that came with the bike, but it just seems counterintuitive that less padding = more comfort. Especially when most cycling shorts have padding...

Been doing about 20k on my mountainbike (mostly flat area). I know I could do another 20k lap, but my ass is killing me after the first ride. I have purchased a cushy seat, but it's not cutting it. I have never bought into cycling clothes at all but am considering those padded shorts. Any advice?
