what's this talk about people transferring back and forth between Mischief and Thornblade?
Is there some kind of free transfer system? I looked it up and only found the token that costs 2500 dbc or whatever they call them now.
Yeah AA grinding in Luclin was rough unless you had the ability to take part in Deep AoE groups regularly or had good OC/IC groups with a charmed hunter or 2.
Everybody was like, gotta buy all your AA and bank 120 for PoP, but by the time I got to like 100 I'd had enough and just waited until...
Not that it really affects anyone here but it kinda puts a damper on the idea of casuals being able to just farm hillgiants or misty guards or whatever plat farm casuals like in order to buy raid loot.
Rift Chloromancer was a cool and unique class
Reminder that Prathun confirmed that the "separate" loot table is just a myth that Rogues made up, to be fair most groups are mainly concerned about xp gains but if you invite a Rogue there's a good chance your split and the end of the night will...
Coirnav had RI and TFC fighting over ow content for quite a while, Europa Mangler contested ow mobs in their time zone regularly (and even got some wins) but didn't bother during US prime time.
Agnarr was probably the only server where the buck was fully broken.
EQBaby didn't get much...
What does number 1 really mean when content isn't even challenging?
All encounters are well known and get downed first attempt, so it really comes down to which guild's leadership wants to push their members the hardest to get it all done in a night or 2.
I used to train Rinna Lightshadow, some kind of GM Cleric to the tunnel, wait at the NRo zone line for her to almost reach me then zone out, zone back in and watch her Roflstomp any evil character she encountered on the way out.
It's the same every cycle. Most of the scummiest people move the the new servers and those that remain are just people that want to group and raid Gates and Omens (and hopefully beyond)
Aradune group game is pretty quiet at the moment, there was a bump with the xp week, and probably a new bump...
Guilds will begin folding soon if not already, so surviving guilds experiencing a flood of new recruits isn't necessarily indicative of good health or anything.
I think contamination have folded, each expac another guild or 2 will fold or merge with other guilds. Take a look back through...
I like to think of Keon as some kind of welfare version of Mabbu, he makes a guild on every TLP, get's banned or quits and makes off with the guild bank (most likely).
Just missing the actual being a competent player that can attract quality players and contest open world mob part.
They...
I was initially hyped for this server, was in multiple discords scoping out which sweaty nerd guild to join, but the more I read and thought about it, the less interested I became.
So glad I skipped this shitshow and stayed on Aradune.
+1 for the TSS start server, have also suggested that over on the official forums, I think it's different enough to the Miragul failure to be worth considering.
You can do 1 to 75 entirely in that expac and get neat group gear along the way, definitely a lot of fun to be had IMO. Disable...
I think the amount of guild recruiters (including from your guild) on Aradune spamming general, planes and even ooc in PoK/Tranq suggests many took at least some hit and that the pool of new recruits is rapidly shrinking, but this is nothing new for a TLP.
Expect many guilds to collapse or...
Didn't stop a bunch of people basically abandoning Aradune (don't know about Riz) characters to roll on the new round of TLPs, sure some hit the tunnel but a lot of people, myself included just retire the old char and roll up new ones with the same account.
Didn't people do some basic math on the Tubbins crew and predict they were raking in at least 4 figures, possibly low 5 figures per month?
Although that was running a full raid and doing PoTime to sell loot rights, the average guy running 2-6 probably isn't seeing close to that.
People have been openly defying the 2 box limit on Aradune for months, without repurcussion, it may as well not exist
And it's not just kronospergs doing it, pretty much every guild has members in good standing that box 3 or 4 occasionally more. They made a half assed effort at enforcing it for...
I have no idea which server was more popular and when, and nor do i care. All I care about is continuing to raid through the expansions and finding a guild that can provide that experience without a bunch of drama, or being forced to carry mouth breathing retards.
If people are serious about...
I spend a lot less time with "join general channels" ticked than I did on previous TLPs, suspect I'm not the only one that's checked out of that shit.
Can't really make assumptions of population based on chat channel numbers IMO.
She had one that was something like "tired of not being in a raid guild, tired of not having a girlfriend, i can help you with the first one, join eqbaby blah blah
Bloodthirst were definitely batphoning Fennin, Xegony and Coirnav, as well as nearly all Fire and Water minis as they popped for at least 2 months. And because Mangler crashed almost every day during PoP they would batphone Earth B mini's at server up until molds started regularly going to alts...
Gif is way out dated, but still gives me a chuckle every time I see it.
Never done the LDoN raids, so would like to do them at least once just to tick them off the list or whatever, I hear people claim that certain augs last for many years, not sure which ones those are but apparently a couple...
There's a big difference between chill while smoking a joint and playing and being a waste of a group slot.
The answer is probably Magician, with maybe a /melody Bard as another option
If your ego can handle it, just constantly fuck up, target wrong mobs, be too slow to select targets etc...
I think a lot of guild leaders are paranoid about the next TLP gutting their guild or something, so they just mass recruit everyone with a pulse, zerg ow stuff then split the shit out of DZ's to keep all the hungry mouths fed.
Then if a bunch leave for the next TLP the worst thing that happens...
And it's going to be that way with the two big guilds on Mischief/Thornblade. They already have hundreds signed up, sure there are a lot of OG guys coming but they will absolutely be shackled with a bunch of dead weight.
I mean even fucking casual guilds have a core of people that use SEQ, it's become ubiquitous to the point where you are at a serious disadvantage for not using it, even if it's just checking for the OW targets that the batphone guild isn't going to come and snipe from you. Or just grouping...
