    Gardening

Fixing clay soil for gardening is a multi-step process. What I'd do is first add a good, thick layer of sand, and work that into the clay soil well. Then I'd add peat moss. A LOT of peat moss. Many inches of peat moss. Work it deeply into the soil, and you should be good to go in the spring.

Probably the most productive death discussion was had here after our cat died. I had had the cat 17 years, the kids were incredibly attached to the cat, and so was I. I cried like a kid when that cat died. And the thing that made me cry the most was watching my 5 year old (at the time)...

I think just using a knife in general is a basic, but not well known skill. My wife never learned, and it takes her forever to take apart veg or meat or whatever. My kids are learning, but I think basic knife skills, and which knife to use when are a basic starting place.

I have three chest freezers. I know it sounds crazy, but I grow so much of the produce that we eat, and I hate canned fruit and veg. By the end of harvest, everything is full, and we have awesome food all winter.

Yeah, there's no doubt in my mind that is wide drywall tape that was poorly done. You may have to tear it out and remud the corners. It's probably something like this, which might work good on a perfectly straight, square wall. So, no where will it work properly, really. Strait-Flex 4 in...

In choosing mine I just looked at the efficiency numbers and found the best one with a brand name I recognized. I ended up with Whirlpool freezers, and have been very happy. I try to keep them quite full, so I never have issues with them icing up.

I don't think it need be a full blown reveal all in one talk. Teach your kids about their bodies, how to respect them, and add sexuality to your ongoing conversations as you go. To me, it's really important that the kids know they can talk about anything, and that they're at least introduced...

So two reactions - that Dutch dude immediately pulled up his hand, and showed concern that his challenge had caused damage. Second, I don't see the Dutch flopping as much as any other team. I love it. That said, grow some fucking offense.

Had the weirdest thing happening. My air conditioning wasn't shutting off when it should.
