I tried going back last patch but the "weight" of the game feels off. Too floaty and spells dont feel impactful. Could not really get past lvl 10. The systems etc seems okay but the gameplay needs improvement.

Built the Long Range Scanner and found some components... Finally figured out how Caravans worked but missed loading Pemmican so I almost starved lol. Forraged Berries for the survival. Mined the map and came back and a Trader had 31 more Components for me. So now I am set for a while.

Trying to get the hang on caravans. To hunt for components. Got a few Muffalos to take with me and Pemmican as food, but it seems to rot real fast? Also all the places around me are hostile, can I still trade with them or what?

But my OCD does not let me have ugly bases! I think I might be doomed.

I saw it got quite the revival with the newest DLC, peak concurrent players on Steam. Will probably practice a bit more on my current base thats stable right now then buy the Odyssey DLC and try it out.

Started with 3 colonists and captured and converted a 4th now for mining. Watched a few videos but still learning. Got the basic stuff up now so time to make it a little more efficient and looking nicer. Cotton took forever to farm, still half naked people running around.
