This is key. I'm confused by so many people seemingly expecting these books and movies to be better than the Twilight saga. They're shitty, YA literature and therefore the movies are shitty, YA films.
Interesting. I'm almost the exact opposite; I think the standard medieval setting of Westeros is boring as hell and I find the more exotic cultures and people in Essos a lot more intriguing to read about. I'm really looking forward to the rest of Dany's story in the show because I'm excited to...
Jozu needs to be perma banned or sent to the rickshaw forever. Repeat offenses of posting spoilers shouldn't be tolerated. If you keep slapping people on the wrist they'll keep doing it.
You say "live off" those foods like it's a bad thing or it's going to get boring. Do you have even the slightest idea of how to cook? The number of ways you can cook eggs alone is practically limitless. Chicken can also be prepared in an incredible variety of ways. And fish? The sheer number of...
I already said who I want. I said to give Pat Sajak the full hour and let him do both shows. He hardly does any more talking on Wheel than Trebek does on Jeopardy. The both start off with their short conversation bits and then they let the contestants do their thing with minor quips (and yes...
I don't remember which episode it was (I want to say towards the beginning of season 2), but the first actual "lol" the show got out of me was when they start filling in the big pit and Andy is sleeping down there under the tarp.
Yeah, except he doesn't. He tries, but if it's not French he often butchers the pronunciation.
And please, don't try to tell me that he's anywhere NEAR as charismatic as Pat Sajak. Compare the "contestant conversation" portions of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and it's not even close: Trebek...
Because I love watching Jeopardy, but Alex Trebek almost ruins it. I'd be happy if they automated the whole thing and didn't have a host, honestly. Alex Trebek is just an awful host and has been ruining Jeopardy for decades.
At the very least they should drop the "conversation" part of...
Speaking of saying shit, it rustles my jimmies when Alex Trebek "correctly" pronounces any-and-all foreign words in jeopardy clues and answers. I know he speaks French, so fine, pronounce those correctly, but he butchers other languages' words all while having his usual smug expression of...
I rewatched some of Archer season 1 and I don't think it was as funny (overall) as most of season 4. A lot of the humor on Archer comes from the characters' personalities and the first season is lacking that because they haven't been developed yet.
Pretty much. Like I posted earlier in this thread, I've never met someone from the Caucasus who wasn't a horrible human being. That entire region is like a "country" of nothing but gypsies. Especially the domestic violence part. It's pretty much a (true) stereotype for them.
I really like the various statues that seem so common in CE's nowadays. I think it would be awesome to have a shelf/room in my house with them all on display.
That is, if I actually had any. I'm too poor to buy CE's. But hey, if you've got money to burn, why not?
I've known several people from Chechnya/Caucasus and they were all degenerates. Wife beaters, racists, and just generally terrible people. I've been to several former Soviet countries and people in all of them had a universal loathing for people from Chechnya/Causasus regions. I'm not surprised...
I remember when legos were just geometric blocks and you had to use creativity to build wih them. Nowadays the playsets are so specialized that it seems like there is only 1 real way to build them. Why even make those linked playsets out of legos? They might as well just be little action...
I don't own any consoles so I'll never play this, but I'm about 1/3 through this 3 hour playthrough of the story mode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY6BhlXqD2U). It's surprisingly good; I'd say it's more entertaining the some of the actual DC-hero movies that have been released.
Bloodlusts actually haven't really been a problem for me. I've just had incredibly shitty luck with vampires getting injured. One actually died once, but regen saved him.
Washington, D.C is still a shitty swamp town with shitty weather and shitty people who get eve shittier when the weather takes a shit. Just keeping you updated. Honestly, worst capital city I've ever been to, weather-wise.
I'm not sure who I'm playing this week (in D1 or D3) but I will probably have time to do a match or two tonight. Let me know and I'll try to be around.
Whoever is playing me in D3 is lucky, because I'm pretty much down to like 7 thralls and 1 vampire I think. Insta-win for you.
Starting an online marketing business and creating successful websites is hard work, bro. I imagine he needs a vacation. He could always go to Hong Kong to see silent features and reduce boring.
Haha yeah, after I read this post I noticed the couple others it had made in other forums and realized it's a bot.
The sad thing is that it's getting harder to tell bots from our resident retards. I think this post was more coherent than anything Aleksei has ever posted.
This sums up my thoughts (and probable actions, if I had been there) as well.
I think most educated people understand that fertilizer can exlode, but I, personally, had no clue that the explosion could be THAT powerful. The videos of it are insane. I would think that standing as far back from...
Looks like an almost direct rip off of Gratuitous Space Battles, with a few more features. That is a good thing, because Gratuitous Space Battles is fun as hell.
I know absolutely nothing about Superman so this may be a stupid question. I thought Kryptonians were "normal" on their planet and it was only because of the yellow sun near Earth that makes superman "super". Is that not correct, like, could Kryptonians fly and use super strength and whatnot on...
It really rustles my jimmies that you have me agreeing with aychamo. Fuck.
If you're tall (I'm a tall guy myself so I understand) you should make sure you get a seat in one of the front areas or exit rows so you don't have anyone sitting in front of you. Airplane seats are designed to be...
