My brother in law just got picked up to be cinematographer for Ep. 9. Makes sense since he did Jurassic World with the director doing 9. Hopefully I can get some sweet info...in like 3 years when it films :P
Anyone know exactly how Convention of Elements works? Say I'm on a WW Barb with WW - Blood Funnel, so Physical damage. If I wait for the Phys buff from CoE to pop up, then start whirlwinding, do I get that 200% damage bonus until I stop whirlwinding? Or does it only give me the 200% when the...
Oh, and game is very pretty/great audio. Played everything Ultra/maxed and that max resolution sampling thing with my semi-aging hardware: GTX 970, 16gb ram, i7-4600k, Win7 64bit, installed on SSD; no hitches at all.
Played a few rounds and quit. Either the game doesn't have holding power or I'm past FPS (thinking former more than latter).
No destructible terrain, extremely arcadey and cooldown/powerup focused. Playing as Imperial was kinda fun on the walker map, Rebel fucking sucked there, no fun at all...
Definitely less people on for less time now. I'm still playing but I don't see it lasting more than another week or two; probably gonna swap to FO3/NV mod&replays before FO4 comes out. I might get up a Wizard and gear it out first, we'll see. Big thing tanking my interest is lack of groups; not...
Got the PC preloaded to try it out since I'm off all weekend. Will be in as Brikker, I assume you can friend people and group with this retarded matchmaking? If any of the old BF bros are playing, add me etc.
I think he says that purely based off of the (massive) size of the universe in the game. All the stuff Quaid mentioned is supposed to be with NPC's, though. It really is a single player game...
Still excited for it! I love open world exploration games.
Game longevity is greatly increased for me by trying/playing a bunch of classes each season. Only ones I have no interest in this season is Wiz/Crusader. I've got fully geared WW barb, HoTA barb, Hellfire/chicken WD, Uliana/SSS/EP monk, and I'm working on a UE6/multishot DH now.
Only the WW...
I'm not finding this to be the case with my guys. They find items at seemingly random different timestamps. Did they fix it?
Also do you only count the timestamps of actual items or caps too?
I'm out of town until the end of the month and really have the urge to play, still. They made quite lot of great improvements with this patch/season. Hopefully they can keep this shit up, I'm playing a lot longer than I did for any other patch and the longevity seems greatly improved.
There...
Lol what? You think non-Special Operations units are anything more than "good enough", and even then not always so?
PT tests should be standardized and changed for that to work, I agree there. That would mean lowering standards for men, probably.
I believe the Navy opened up submarine duty to...
Yep, WW should be every barbs first build anyway since HotA is ass for anything but GRifting.
I finally got an ancient BK weap out of the cube today. Not the greatest rolls but it's at just over 3100 dps, so I can't complain too much. Now I need the other one!
You want the hota Gavel for HotA build. IK6, gavel, bracers of the first men (though I cube it and use a Strongarms when solo), F&R, the Call of the Ancient's shoulders that I'm totally forgetting the name of...and of course a good Hellfire ammy if you can.
WW farming I use Furnace, Yan's hexing pants, Zodiac Ring.
WW GRifts (I don't do them much) is the same.
HotA solo I do Furnace, Bracers of the First Men, Unity.
HotA group is Furnace, Bracers of the first men, Convention of elements.
ymmv!
If you can handle it (you should be able to), run Focus/Restraint for straight Rift farming as WW. Save unity for GRift pushing. Raekor's is worthless this season/patch; unless you like having each set, shard it. IK and its pieces for HotA and better WotW and its pieces for WW are what you want...
I swap back and forth so my profile won't be accurate (as of right now).Brikkseason - Community - Diablo III
Build is[2.3] Hota Barb - Solo - 60+ - Barbarian - Diablo III Builds - Diablo Fans
I tried out HotA last night for the first time. I'd been lucky and got a full set of the gear required (except Hellfire ammy) and a 4200+ dps, decently rolled Gavel. Shit is wayyyy slow movement wise after WW, but goddamn 5-7 billion crits are fun. Haven't even tested my upper limits of Grifts...
