    Home Improvement

I have a well and a softener at the well house. When I first moved here in the middle of nowhere the people who built the house had dug up a lot of large chunks of iron and had them spread around, some the size of a car. But otherwise it's sand. But with the softener it's pretty good. Better...

    Everquest Legends

I haven't played EQ in 20 years or so. Had a FoH group for a short time back then. Now way back in the day one day there was a patch and as a ranger I could shoot my bow across the zone and get no aggro. I killed Sont (dragon) kinda fuzzy on names of zones from the zone in solo with no aggro...

Yeah that is him, he menitoned it in the few minutes I watched. The one thing I learned is if you swim backwards your skill doesn't go up. He was trying for 50 in OOT and only swim skill he started with. No idea why or how that info would be useful.

    Everquest Legends

I watched a few minutes on stream just to see how it looked. Someone streaming was a challange runner and they were doing ocean of rears alone to 50 in the zone. They were hiding and moving all the small boats. No idea how they planned on going and getting new spells. I don't know how it...

Anyone ever use a reverse connect motherboard? My case will work with those and I'm at the point of starting that build. I'm just curious if the reverse connect/stealth motherboards make that big of a difference. I'm most likely not going to go with that but was just curious.

    Health Problems

My dad went to the doctor today. I asked him how it went. Said the doctor said he was doing good for his age. He's 85, being alive is kinda good for his age. I asked mom and apparently I am the only one that will never get real old. Dad is 85, mom is 83. My grandmother lived to 100. My moms...

No doubt they will go in the opposite direction too far. The US for a long time built fire towers to watch and report all fires and fight them and on top of that fire was "bad" and we stopped presribed fires. Then it didn't do prescribed fires in a lot of places because people who lived close to...

I can remember reading his stuff a long time ago. Was it PC Mag he worked for or some other magazine? I used to listen to the no agenda podcast at one time but eventually stopped for some reason.

    Weather

Extreme heat warning has officially lost all meaning. It's 89 and 55% humidity. For this time of the year that's a cold front. If the storm keeps coming and get rain it will be even cooler. Last week it was 103 but now 89 is extreme heat. Also 55% humidity this time of the year is not bad at all.

Sounds like a good deal. Even if you don't love it you are making money and put on your resume for your next job. I work in a totally different world, but I've worked a few jobs that were basically resume builders.

Should be beyond obvious. Don't drive into any water. Happens all the time people that have lived their all their life and think they can cross moving water and bam sweapt away in their car. So far looks worse than last years "100 year flood".

Missed earnings I think. I watched a few minutes of bloomberg live before the market opened and a couple of guest made the same comment. Tech has been concentrated on building data sites and such and forgot about non AI software. No idea but it sounded like they all got the same briefing.

I don't have a long beard, but it's 100% white now. I've always had facial hair but having to shave it off to get into some facilities I never really grew it real long. My dad made a big deal and had an award for winning a beard contest in 1976 which was one of the bicentenial deals. Not for me.
