I played WoW from beta, even before TBC you could pull packs in strath and other zones and AE while tank spun in circles or other random bullshit. Their is no CC w/o a designated utility class to do it.
I admittedly hate the very fact that this came to be in any game. They could have kept it like EQ1 and require CC, good healing, good pulling and things would be golden. Nothing like EQ2 and WoW where you could pull packs of mobs and just AE shit down np.
I like alot of the concepts, and i...
Not true, said 2015 alot then people kept saying 2014 b/c they had alot of saved resources from before they scrapped it.
That aside i cant find myself interested beyond wanting to beta to see the world. I really hate the fact that it will be an EQ without the holy trinity, it just sounds like...
Hype Train!
That aside, this falls back to the 2015 release date i was told. It may come by end of 2014 but this was always a ways off. Regardless of what shit they kept before they scrapped it, this shit is no where near ready, and now that trinity is gone im more so hoping WoW pulls its...
Confused now, this is starting to sound more like GW2 than EQN - Can you only have 4 active abilities to use at a time or you only "start" with 4 abilities then can add more by finding other classes until you have X amount in total.
Bit overboard, as you could easily see that game isnt even beta ready, and not in the FnF alpha stage either. More so its possibly just a lot of chunks of certain areas that they turned from concept to reality. I did not notice them mention raids or how the dungeons would work at all, then again...
This shit looks pretty awesome, regardless of them picking and evolving aspects from other games, it still looks awesome.
No, you arent alone, that shit looks sweet.
They playtested some shit for EQ2 with our supposed website revamp. However it never got finished, and for almost half a year EQ2 had a non working site. I wouldnt put too much hope in anything said outside of them putting out a product to make money.
Pretty much this, forgelight was built for EQN and PS2 was its testing grounds. It will have great visuals but the design could resemble WoW meets EQ easily. I liked what i saw with the engine in PS2 personally so im fairly optimistic it we wont have a disaster like EQ2 again.
As for the P2W...

Pretty interesting, seems indies are the big winner this console gen even more so than the consumers.
Thanksfully, alot of people enjoyed Man of Steel and thus this sounds like nothing short of pure gold. However w/o Bale i cannot begin to imagine who will play as batman unless its his obvious successor from TDKR.
I don't like this. Sure i want to play it as much as the next but skipping a decent sized beta will mean alot of untested mechanics, content and server load. That is unless of course they plan largely ahead for worse case scenarios(which Sony is known for having).
This is more talked about...
I'd gladly welcome a world where you're scared to travel and explore knowing you could day at any moment. Sure this would likely end by the time you max level and geared up some. However the entire trip along the way would be awesome knowing shit could fuck you up and not just ran up to every...
Yeah thats why i said that i'm not sure how shit is now. I decided to level new toons to get used to game again and now i just have a bunch of L86ish toons and havent bothered maxing out yet. WoW to me is fun again since its been a while and alot of shit is revamped. Ofcourse now im 100%...
WoW raiding was very easy, but i am comparing it to raiding in EQ2. I think the hardest part of WoW raiding back when i was doing it alot (MC -> Nax40) was just farming tons of herbs for various pots etc. I am pretty sure i spent more time chasing lotus than doing challenges on raids. Then again...
Its back on Netflix, but ive seen it like 3x already =/ Series is soooo soo good! I wish to hell they'd put up jap audio on Guin Saga - cant stomach the english version for shit.
