Did you go slayer? I've been messing around with different ele hit setups and can't decide what ascendancy I actually want. Slayer seems like the most straight forward for sure, but I think campion with big fortify stacking is maybe better lategame.

Yea Stormshroud is about as free as full ailment avoidance has ever really been. Ancestral Vision is also really good if you're suppress cause you can combine it with a single shield/boot mod + implicit, but it is often more expensive

No way to get the avoid shock on there no, not without using recombinators and a lot of luck. Best bet is craft a thing you want then use foulborn exalt to hit a big res You can hit 100% shock avoid on a belt though if you need to with stygian + essences and a big roll on an abyssal jewel

I was very behind the times on this FYI. I've only ever played base holy relic and had no idea this version existed that casts at range instead of a nova on the relics themselves: So yea probably play holy relic cause it's damage is utterly absurd.

It gets way way better as you progress as mob density just ramps up. Even still I feel like some skills are gonna struggle hard, because it's still clearing a lot of fuckin mobs in a very short time.

The relics also behave weird and lag behind you constantly if you move at all fast. Their AE is not that large. Too many weird abstraction layers causing delays between you doing stuff and the relics activating + being in range to kill stuff. And yea poison compounds it to be even worse.

Holy relic will never be a popular build because it simply sucks ass to play and isn't satisfying. By the raw numbers it's been one of the best builds for many, many leagues, and never hits meta share

Yea its mostly that - just having better nodes to take with your remaining 4 points. I had originally thought maybe the attack speed node would be okay, but if we assume tigers are capped at 10 like wolves then that's only ~40% attack speed which is pretty bad for an ascendancy unless you can...
