Was sad to see beta end, though I am pumped for EA of course. I had a ton of fun during my months in beta. I didn’t take a toon to 60(deliberately) but had a 50 and several around 30 or so. Funnily enough I’m planning on starting as a class I never played in beta until a couple weeks ago...

The tokens of devotion from the DE trainer are 75c a piece. I’ve settled on playing cleric, but looking forward to such reagent costs tbh.

I need to settle on a race. I like the ultravision from the deep elves but NH has been the center of the universe the entire time I’ve been in beta. I’m sure the players will do the same thing for the underground folks in AV but I’m worried about getting stuck with no economy for a long time...

I’ll be doing the same when I get off work. But won’t be in the game until a couple days after EA starts anyway.

Damn. I don’t mind grinding some faction. But unless they really flesh out AV/Underdocks, the thought of having to grind that long before I can go topside to everything I already know and the convenience of NH being the center of commerce, etc sounds like shit. but ultra vision…..

Any folks playing DEs managed to get faction high enough to sell/train in NH? Just curious how long it seems to take. I was grinding ashira then WB for hours yesterday and am still 10% fork just getting to disdain.

I’ll be playing for sure. But not on the first few days. I’m out of town for family vacation. Which is fine by me because I’m sure it will be rough. Still can’t decide on a class.

Enjoying the new cleric a lot. Only lvl 10 but it’s fun. The random “god” buff procs are neat and I wish they were just a little more frequent, but it is what it is. Had planned on maining a monk but I got pretty burned out only pulling for the 50 levels I played on it. Felt like I did nothing...

Finally giving the beta a bit more time now that most of the updates for classes are in and the ultravision races. I’ve had no issues except the insane lvls of input/chat/trade/everhting lag in Night Harbor. I don’t know what they did several weeks ago, but when I first got in there were like 250 people in NH at nearly all times, with zero lag. Then it just became a disaster, regardless of how many were in...

The shakeup of abilities appears to be a mistake. At least according to a GM post on the monk discord.

It’s funny you mention selling beta keys. I was watching his stream while he was giving away keys. Left it on while working for maybe 3 hours with no luck. On a whim I subbed just to see what happened, and his next giveaway I got a key.

WB as a human is funny. I was pulling there today and just had to memorize turns heading down for mobs because I couldn’t see shit. I’m too lazy to swap a torch in and out to use so once my fire beetle eye ran out I was just winging it. Had a bunch of fun and saw some pretty large trains come...

Anyone know if you’re supposed to be able to opt in more than once? I opted in when I signed up for the last playtest. Checking today it will let me opt in over and over again for some reason.

Pantheon is shit. I enjoyed AoC well enough, but this fake game is shit. MnM is fine, but a literal EQ rip off. Genre is dead. Makes me sad, but it’s true. Pantheon is shit.

Eh, game is nowhere near done. But for me it does scratch a bit of an “old school” itch. Hanging out just camped and grinding mobs in a group is relaxing and fun for me. I don’t need to nonstop be pushing buttons and moving around dodging fire to enjoy a mmo. Probably not a long term game...

So, is there a place in a forum guild on a Pve server for a 40 year old who barely played classic WoW because he played EQ2, never raided in WoW until WoD can only play a few hours here and there(newborn baby,) but has the next 3 months off work for said baby? 🤣

I feel like combat opens up much earlier than I remember in the first one, and you can cross the city fast as hell right out of the gate.

I liked the first one and the Miles one. Loving this one so far.

I’ll echo a lot of what has been posted. I honestly gave zero fucks about this game, since 15 was so bad. Played the demo without having any expectations and loved it. Loved the darker, more “grown up” tones, the grittier aesthetic. I’m pumped.

So I’m in Gryffindor, wife in Ravenclaw, and my daughter is in Slytherin. Watching them play has been interesting because some of the story quests are different. They wind up leading to the same point in the big story, but how it gets there is different.

I’ve explored a lot and feels like there’s more than I’ll ever get to. I got 17 talent points when I unlocked them in the story because I’d been running around so much.

I’m loving it so far. Looks good on PS5. Just running around exploring the castle and getting shit.

I’m super pumped. I’ve been a HP fan since they came out when I was(a bit) younger. The fact it may actually be good and pisses off dick choppers is just a huge bonus.

I’ve always enjoyed OW as something to play when I’m not really playing anything else, and I play with my 10 year old son. Never gonna claim it’s a great game but I’ve had fun with it. But fuck, these queues and shit are ridiculous.

Only 600 queue when I logged in today. Lost connection after 2 minutes and it went to 2000. Getting disconnected like every 2-5 minutes, timing out communicating with BattleNet. Wtf are they doing?

Waiting over an hour after I got kicked, get to 200 in queue, reconnects, back to 30,000. Jfc.

I didn’t have to use a phone number to get in at all. But I only play quick play.

My son and I got like 2 matches together, then he got kicked, back into 40000 queue or some shit. Fuuuu

I’m only 10 hours into XBC3 and all the systems aren’t introduced yet, but I’ve enjoyed it. I needed a new Switch so bought the OLED model and it’s been quite fun. The screen is so much better!

Not sure how I feel about 5v5. If you have a shit tank, I’ve experienced some serious beatdowns.

Bought into the beta for this. Even if it isn’t good, I’m happy to support a more traditional type of mmo. I’m old and as much as I enjoyed some faster paced mmos, the thought of a chill grinding session being able to just chat to folks instead of constantly moving all over the place sounds nice.
