That's a series I've grown weary of. Politics, fighting a war here and there, and then nothing really happens to them. No real evolution, nothing truly special. I was on the patreon, dropped out, and considering even dropping from the RR version. The series is supposed to end with the Ascension...

The idea that someone could be masturbating to Hasan is... disturbing.

Girlboss alert! Girlboss alert!

That's the last book for now.

Excellent book. Highly recommend.

Google "The Hu" for modern mongolian music.

The previous book was released Sep 5 2024 on audio and Jan 5 2025 in ebook, so assume FOUR months. Yes. That bad.

Not always, but the last two are Audible first, yes.

In other news, water was wet back then.

I miss the time when "dynamic pricing" just meant that if the server detected you were using a Mac, it added 10-20% "because obviously Apple users are ready to pay more".

Is that an adaptation of the webnovel or an entirely separate thing? *EDIT* Looks like it's the 2025 movie adaptation, so here's the book series from which it came: Amazon.com

Don't say that to any astronomer.

I started that on Apple II. Import to France did cost a fortune. Ultima III was priced at around 150$ at the time (1983). Not inflation adjusted, 150$ of then-dollar. But at least it did have a nice cloth map.

I never had a C64. I had its poor brother, the VIC-20, but there was almost no software for it.

Oh, my sweet summer child...

And I assume we'll have to wait for the book version...

Math doesn't work out. Kill/Respawn are $-neutral for the game devs, so the only 1$ they make is when you begin your play session. To afford a $ 10-per-hour payout, they need enough bots THEY operate to kill you (for free) so they can get your $10 before the hour ends.

She died a few years ago.

It's probably bringing back home the bacon - not the only from Circe's pigs - easily.

Got dragged to this yesterday, so I'll give my honest review: Decent-to-maybe-good movie, but not worth rewatching ever. Enjoy in cinemas with good company, otherwise not. I'd rather rewatch Tenet in a cinema every five years before I rewatch The Oddyssey. So, first, the DEI. The casting is...

Apparently, satellite tracking had their "Y2K bug" moment, too.

I loved that game (the Atari ST port, never played it on Apple II).

I was telling someone that the reason why Paris doesn't have much in term of AC is because it's basically Montana, or even slightly north of that. I should have checked the predictions before speaking...

Truth. I'm happy that this thread let me discover this hidden gem. It's kind of the same premise as the old Arrogant Young Master Template A, Variation 4, but better (and way more regular)...

Wait for it...

And I do buy bluerays. When there's one.

And I would if someone sold it to me. But as seen, they don't sell those movies. They provide you with a license whose terms you did not negotiate, and that can be revoked at any time. So I can't buy the movie from a legitimate seller? I'll buy it from the black market instead. And that's what...

Welcome to the - Desperado - Club, Crawler!

Minor general spoiler alert: I dropped after book 7.

I love the "14668% funded". I also contributed to that number. I still haven't opened any of the first 9, I'm waiting for the full set to do a hardcover re-read...

Makes you feel like 007: https://store.hermanmiller.com/hmgx007?lang=en_US

I still remember when he launched the story on RR, then apologized because "I will probably switch from system to cultivation, because."

Quick analysis of the failed test by the usual bald Scottish KSP engineer:

And those scores means?...

Finally done. I can now say "Boop".

I'm mostly waiting for next week and DCC.

Still fighting depression/burnout (retirement, here I come), and I exhausted my Baen backlog. So, I picked an old series, Sean Oswald's Welcome to the Multiverse. Systems are basically merged god pantheons, and competing for resources and fighters for said competition. Earth gets put in a...

Projection rarely does.
